When we first started Salad and Go in 2013, we used to always say, “Imagine on every corner, where there is a McDonald's, there will be a better and healthier option”.  Since exiting in 2021, we have realized that we need to offer more than salads in order to give hardworking, frontline Americans a true, better and healthier replacement to McDonald's. So now, we say, “Imagine one day, on every corner where there is a McDonald's, there will be an Angie’s — with all 4 restaurant concepts serving much better, healthier, and even more affordable food than McDonald's. All under one roof, one order. We will strive to do it with comparable speed and be accurate and consistent. A true replacement to truly change the health of America!

I wanted to send you a quick note to give you a glimpse into our future. We started Angie’s with the mission to make luxury foods affordable to everyone. We first launched Angie’s Lobster in 2022 with wild-caught seafood. Then, we launched Angie’s Prime Grill, serving grilled-to-order prime meats with organic and premium ingredients, for those on the go. Then, utilizing our USDA Prime beef from Angie’s Prime Grill, we spun off Angie’s Burger, making fresh, USDA Prime beef patties, charbroiled and served with a local brioche bun, giving access to burger quality that is only served at the most expensive, white-tablecloth steakhouses. Most recently, we created our fourth concept, Angie’s Chicken, to provide you antibiotic-free chicken paired with house-made sauces, free from added preservatives. With every concept we launched, we did it with the highest quality ingredients and the healthiest too. We take pride that our food is made without preservatives, we only use extra virgin olive oil in all of our marinades, vinaigrettes, most of our sauces, and also when cooking on the grill. We use organic and premium produce, cut fresh every day at every store, and free from any of the preservative coatings other places use to make it last longer. Our house-made drinks are made with whole ingredients and no added preservatives. We’re truly making Fast Food Better, Healthier, and More Affordable.

How can we disrupt legacy fast food without providing you a true alternative to what you are eating the most at these fast-food restaurants? You need a better and healthier replacement for the fast-food burger. You need a better and healthier replacement for fried chicken. You need a better and healthier replacement for a fish sandwich. You need a better and healthier salad. You need better and healthier drinks, instead of the drinks offered at traditional fast-food restaurants that are made with preservatives and additives. You need a better and healthier replacement for a fast-food breakfast. Angie’s will be that true replacement for McDonald's. With our Angie’s Super Restaurants, all 4 concepts under one roof, you get the one stop shop for all of the fast foods you eat the most frequently, made with ingredients that, before Angie’s, were only affordable to the rich. Should organic only be affordable to the rich? Should antibiotic-free chicken only be affordable to the rich? Should wild-caught seafood only be affordable to the rich? Seed-oil free cooking only be affordable to the rich? NO!

The Angie’s Team is working hard every day at the restaurants, distribution centers and in Maine, but need your help to achieve our crazy, and some say impossible, mission. Please join us in our mission by coming more often, telling others about us, and continuing to practice our self-service model. It all makes a difference and means a lot to all of us! Because in the end, we started Angie’s to honor my mother — to build a company that will live like she did with love, fight, passion, service, and fun — to give access to luxury foods for all of the Angies in our country. The Angies are the ones that make this country great and make it go! The future is here — better and healthier, all of the foods you eat the most often, all in one order, all under one roof, all at the lowest prices, all at Angie’s!
